Hello! Thank you so much for considering me to review your book! Below you’ll find my review policies including what kinds of books I’m currently accepting for review, preferred formats, timeline for review, and more!
I am not currently accepting any books for review at this time.
2021 has been a difficult year and unfortunately reading has taken a backseat in my life while I prioritize my family and my health. I’m hoping to open up reviews later this fall.
I am OPEN to reviewing books and graphic novels from the following genres:
Young Adult Fantasy
Young Adult Mystery
Young Adult Contemporary
Young Adult Romance
Science Fiction
Fantasy
Contemporary Romance
Historical Romance
Preference is given to books by Own Voices authors who’s book(s) feature LGBTQIA+ characters and characters with disabilities.
I am NOT accepting reviews of books or graphic novels in the following genres:
Horror
Mystiers/Thrillers
Non Fiction
I am currently accepting physical and digital copies for review. I am based in the USA and read digital copies on an iPad. Mobi/Kindle format is preferred for digital copies but not required.
I am not accepting audiobooks at this time.
Timeline:
Most reviews will be completed within 1 to 2 months. Some reviews may take longer depending on my current reading requirements (see below).
Timeline(s) can be discussed if a review is preferred on or by a certain date. Discussion in meant to help me determine if I can review your book in time for your needs, it does not guarantee a review date.
As of October 15th 2020 I will NOT be accepting anymore books for review till June 2021.
What will be included in your review?
My book reviews tend to follow a standard format and include:
- Title
- Author
- Genre
- Publisher
- Publication Date
- Synopsis
- Where to buy links *(i.e. Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Book Depository, etc.)
- Star Rating
- Review
- Author Info (Bio, social media, etc.)
This information can be provided written out or through links to websites such as Goodreads.
Images such as a book cover or author photo will be included in the review if they are provided.
Where will your review be posted?
Reviews will be posted on my blog and on Goodreads.
Reviews will also be posted to up to 3 retail sites where the book is sold (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Book Depository)
Links to the review will appear on Twitter.
Mini reviews posted to Instagram are available upon request and depend on my time too curate a post. These reviews will include a creative photo taken by me.
What you should include in your request?
Your request should include basic information about the book: Title, Author, Summary, Release Date.
If there is a preferred date for your review please also include this information. If you do not include a date I will assume you have no preference and will follow my current timeline.
Your request should also include why you think this book would be a good fit for me to review based on what you’ve seen on my blog, or other social media accounts.
Before submitting your request please understand that requesting a review does not guarantee a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating or a rave review. As a bookseller and book blogger my goal is to give my readers a honest perspective on books to help them make their own decision about what books are right for them to read.

I try to respond to each request within 3-5 business days. Please do not submit multiple requests for the same book. If you are requesting reviews for multiple books at once please submit one contact form for each book.
