Top Ten Tuesday: August 25th, 2020

Hello lovelies! Happy Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and this week’s prompt is: Questions I would ask my favorite author(s)! For this post I decided to write 2 questions for 5 of my favorite authors. I’m super excited to read your posts for this prompt and I hope you like some of the question’s I’ve come up for this post!

V.E. Schwab:

What upcoming project are you most excited about and why?

This question includes all of Schwab’s projects, books, films, tv shows, and not just the ones she can talk about.

Of your currently published books, which would you like to be adapted into a graphic novel?

I honestly think all of Schwab’s books would make great graphic novels, especially Vicious and This Savage Song, but I’m curious which book she would choose.

Marie Lu:

What’s been the most fulfilling part of being an author thus far?

I love going to events with Marie Lu, she’s always so open and honest about the joys of being an author and I’d love to hear her answer now that she has a few new books out since I last saw her.

If you could write any book outside of your typical genre, what kind of story would you want to tell?

I’m always curious what kind of book author’s would write if they wrote a story outside of their typical genre and I’m really interested in what Lu would write outside of Young Adult.

Tamsyn Muir:

What do you most hope your readers take away from your books?

As wild and crazy as her books are, Muir obviously puts a lot of work in crafting deeper messages for her books and I’d love to know what ideas/themes/etc. she hopes her readers take away from her books.

If you could live in any fictional world, where would you live and why?

Honestly, this is always a fun question to ask and I’d love to know where Muir would like to live!

Brittany Cavallaro:

What’s you favorite unsolved mystery and do you think Charlotte and Jamie could solve it?

Honestly this is me just trying to get another Charlotte Holmes story. I miss Charlotte and Jamie so much.

If you where involved in a murder mystery would you be the victim, the detective, or the murderer?

Again, another fun question to ask just about anyone. Except maybe serial killers.

Ally Carter:

What kind of music do you listen to while writing and does it vary from book to book?

I know lots of authors listen to music while they write, or make playlists for their books, and I’d love to know what Carter listens too.

What makes the best midnight reading snack?

Whenever I can’t sleep and feel like reading I always wish I had a snack, but nothing ever sound good. I’m hoping Carter could give me an idea or two.

I had a great time thinking of these questions but I will admit making the graphics was a pain. The app I used doesn’t have spell check and on top of my dyslexia I had several of these multiple times. And there’s probably still an error in there somewhere. So if you notice one please point it out! I’d love to fix it asap!

Hope you guys are having a great week so far!
