WWW Wednesday: August 19th, 2020

Hello lovelies! Happy Wednesday! How is your week going? Mine has been pretty productive so far in terms of housework, but that means I haven’t been able to read as much as I would like. BUT today I made a TBR schedule for the next couple of months to help me get back on track with my reading and I’m really excited about it! I’ll be posting about it tomorrow if you want to see what my reading for the next couple of months will look like.

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words and each week you answer the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What are you planning on reading next?

What are you currently reading?

I’m still making my way through Harrow the Ninth this week but I’m half way through and should finish in the next day or two. I’m really enjoying it so far but I’m also 2000% confused about what’s going on. But in a good way. I’m also VERY worried about my favorite lesbian necromancer and I just need her to be okay. But based on what Happened in Gideon the Ninth I doubt that’ll happen. Also bad things are already happening, so….

What did you recently finish reading?

Over the last couple of months I’ve been making my way through the Tom King run of Batman and over the weekend I finished the last two volumes of his run. I rated them both ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and really enjoyed how King’s run ended. I was disappointed that two of my favorite characters weren’t in these last two volumes but they’re running around doing stuff in their own comics so that’s okay…I guess. I’m looking forward to these comics continuing under James Tynion and for the reboot that DC is hinting at (hopefully we’ll learn more during DC Fandom this week).

What are you planning on reading next?

Up next for me is Take Me With You by Tara Altebrando. THis is one of the many NetGalley books I’m behind on according to my very arbitrary self imposed deadline. This one I plan on having finished by 8/25 if I want to keep to the reading schedule I wrote for myself today. I’ll be posting more about that tomorrow if you’d like to check it out!

Well that’s it for this post. I can’t wait to check out your WWW Wednesday posts!
