Hello lovelies! Happy Tuesday! How’s everyone’s week going so far?
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and this week’s prompt is books that should be made into Netflix shows/movies!
These are in no particular order, just 10 books I think would make great shows!
This series won’t be finished till next year but I would love to see it brought to life on screen. There’s so much going on with this series and these characters it could easily be made into a series. At least one season per book…preferably two.
With three books in this series, plus prequel graphic novels and a follow up trilogy to come there’s more than enough of these books to be adapted into a long running show. Plus seeing Lila running around causing trouble is a dream for me. (Yes I know we’re getting closer and closer to a movie and as excited as I am for that, I also think these books deserve the time a series can give them, that a movie can’t).
Honestly I think all of V.E. Schwab’s books would make great shows, but Vicious and Vengeful especially. While I’d like to see these as a show, I think they’s also work really well as movies.
Legend was the book series that turned me back into a reader and I’d love to see them on screen. I’m hopeful the movie(s) will get made but I’d love a show on Netflix too!
This one is probably more suited for HBO but still. I’d love to see Mia and Mister Kindly running around murdering and seeking revenge.
I know there are a ton of Sherlock Holmes adaptations running around but this one is by far one of my favorite adaptations. I think it would make a great series (movie or show) on Netflix.
Boyfriend Material, Conventionally Yours, Something to Talk About
We need more LGBTQIA+ movies and shows and I’d love to see these romances as Netflix movies.
I loved this series when I was in middle/high school and I think it’d make a great show or movie series.
