Wrap Up: July 2020

Hello lovelies! It’s August 2nd and I have read exactly 0 books! But I’m trying to not hold that against myself though. I had a rather great reading month for July and I’m still really proud of all of the reading I got done!

In July I read 6 books and 9 comics! That’s a lot of reading for me between my ADHD and Dyslexia so I am over the moon that I was able to read so much! It’s been really nice diving back into comics and to be slowly catching up on my NetGalley arcs. I’m really hoping I can keep this momentum going and get through most if not all of my August tbr which you can check out here if you want!

For July all of the books I read where for NetGalley and I really enjoyed all of them. A couple weren’t as great as I had been hoping but I still enjoyed them. You can follow the links in the captions to each review if you’d like to check them out!

Something to Talk About ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Court of Miracles ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Boyfriend Material ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
500 Miles From You ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Marriage Game ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A Wicked Magic Review coming 8/3!

I’ve talked about the comics I’ve been reading in a few different posts but I haven’t really reviewed most of them. The funny thing about comics is I don’t really feel like I have enough knowledge to review them? There’s just so much background info that goes into comics, especially Batman, and I don’t really feel like I know enough to talk about them in depth. But maybe I should give it a shot anyways? Would you guys even be interested in reviews of comics?

Anyways, here are the one’s I read in July (organized by series):

Batman vol. 7 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Batman vol. 8 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Batman vol. 9 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Red Hood and the Outlaws 1 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Red Hood and the Outlaws 2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Red Hood and the Outlaws 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Red Hood and the Outlaws 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Red Hood/Arsenal vol. 1 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Red Hood/Arsenal vol. 2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I didn’t put any comics on my August tbr mostly cause one of my friends has been telling me what to read and letting me barrow her copies, and I’m not sure what she’ll give me this month, but I’m sure I’ll end up reading a few.

So over all a pretty great month for reading for me!
