Hello lovelies!
So yesterday I was playing with my cats and I got the idea to make a post about them and the book characters they remind me of! And so I decided for today’s post I’d do them as characters by my favorite author: V.E. Schwab!
Darcy is definitely Kate Harker from This Savage Song.
Darcy is my best girl. I recused her when she was 4 and we’ve been together ever since. But she’s moody. Takes no shit. Has claws, knows how to use them. Also I’m her only friend.
Sydney is Sydney Clark from Vicious.
Sydney is actually named after Sydney Clark. My little one was born dead and thanks to some amazing people she came back. She follows me everywhere and loves dogs.
Now the other kitties in my life are technically my parents, but we all live under the same roof and I’ve been taking care of them the last 9 months while my mom has been recovering from a liver transplant.
First up we have Smokey. Smokey is definitely Mitch from Vicious. He’s a gentle giant and lots of people mistake him for being a little dumb (he kinda is) but he’s also super smart and extremely loyal.
Next is Shadow. Shadow is basically Kell from A Darker Shade of Magic. Grumpy. Not overly affectionate. Good in a fight. Doesn’t do what he’s told.
And finally we have Missy. Missy is 19 and she is 100% Holland from A Darker Shade of Magic. Extremely grumpy. Thinks she’s better than everyone else. Actually just wants to be loved but doesn’t know how to ask for it. Will bite you if she’s in the mood.
