Hello lovelies! I hope everyone had a great week and is having a nice weekend as well!
Today I thought I would introduce you guys to my blogging assistant Darcy!

Darcy is my 12 year old Chocolate Point Siamese who I rescued in 2013. She’s a typical siamese and I’m the only person she likes, though there are a couple people she tolerates from time to time.
Darcy is my constant companion and always cuddles up with me while I’m reading and since starting this blog, writing as well.
It can make writing a bit awkward to say the least but I wouldn’t change it. She’s in my lap right now snoring as I write this, using my arm as a pillow.

I’m not sure what Darcy’s life was like before I rescued her. A friend found her living in a local park, starving, and brought her home. But they already had 4 cats and couldn’t keep her. I was about to move into student housing that would let me have a cat so I took her to the vet to have her looked over, and to check for a microchip in case she was lost. She did have a chip and the vet contacted the family. They had moved across the country and didn’t want to deal with taking her with them. I still get mad thinking about it. But I found her, gave her a new home (and a new name) and we’ve been inseparable ever since. I cannot imagine my life without her.
She’s moody and demanding but she’s mine and I’m her’s. I wouldn’t trade her for the world. She’s my reading buddy, my cuddle bug and, now, my blogging assistant.
