Happy Wednesday lovelies! We’re half way through the week! May seems to be flying by but it’s also been the roughest month in quarantine for me so far. That being said I’m still getting a lot of reading done so that’s great!

This week I started my next NetGalley read, Cat Person and Other Stories by Kristen Roupenian. I’m about half way through this one and its been a quick read so far. The stories are hard to describe but they give me the same feelings I got while reading Her Body and Other Parties. I suspect I’ll finish this one today with a review up sometime tomorrow!
What did you recently finish reading?
Last week I finished three books: Cholera: The Victorian Plague, Normal People and Illuminae. You can follow these links to read my reviews for each of those reads. Illuminae was by far my favorite read last week but I enjoyed the others as well.
What do you plan on reading next?
Up next I plan on reading Act One of Harrow the Ninth. Tor released the first act a couple of weeks ago and I can’t wait to dive in. This is one of my most anticipated reads of 2020 and I’m sure it’ll be one of my favorites as well!

I can’t decide whether I want to pick up Illuminae or not. It looks brilliant but I’m not sure it’s for me.
