Six for Sunday: May 3rd, 2020

Hello lovelies and happy Sunday! We survived another week! Did you meet your reading goals for the week? I didn’t quite make mine but I still got a lot of reading done.

Six for Sunday is hosted by A Little But A Lot and this week’s prompt is 1st books in a series! So here are series I love, series I want to read, and series I want to finish!

1. Legend by Marie Lu

Legend was one the first YA Series I ever read and I love it dearly. It opened up a whole new world of reading for me and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes dystopian worlds.

2. Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir

I would do anything to protect Harrow and Gideon. ANYTHING. Can’t wait to continue this series in August when book 2 is released!

3. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

I really enjoyed this series but have yet to finish it. I read book 4 and it…ended. The series felt complete to me at that point so I haven’t found the motivation to read the last 3 books. But I do want to finish this series so hopefully I’ll read them soon.

4. LifeL1k3 by Jay Kristoff

lifelike
This book was pretty hard for me to read because of my dyslexia. A lot of the vocabulary the characters use was hard for me to follow but the big reveal at the end…never saw that coming! I plan on finishing this series, but I’ll be listening to them on audio.

5. The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty

I hear nothing but amazing things about this series and with the third and final book coming out soon I plan on binging this series asap!

6. Red Rising by Pierce Brown

Another series I hear nothing but good things about. I recently placed a hold on the audiobook for this at my local library and I hope it comes in soon!
