Six For Sunday: April 26th, 2020

Hello lovelies! Six for Sunday is a meme hosted by A Little But A Lot!

This week’s post is books on your TBR because of someone else’s recommendation! For this prompt I decided to pick books that have been recommended to me by my follow booksellers! For the most part it surprises me that these are still on my TBR pile since they’re right up my alley and I’m sure I’m going to love them when I read them!

*Links will take you to each book’s Goodreads page

1. If We Were Villains By M.L.Rio

I’ve had this one recommended to me by several booksellers and I’m surprised I haven’t read it yet given I downloaded the audiobook ages ago.

2. Maisie Dobbs by Jacqueline Winspear

One of my managers, Liz, recommended this mystery series to me a few years ago. We both share of love of historical fiction and she thinks I’ll love this series!

3. FrostBlood By Elly Blake

Marlee loved this series and she was surprised I haven’t read it yet, given that I’m one of the go-to booksellers for YA at our store. I feel like I need to read it ASAP!

4. The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen

This one was recommended by Wendy. She did caution me from reading the ending of the last book though…not sure what that means but I’m excited to read this series!

5. Red Rising by Pierce Brown

Another one of my managers at work, Jamie, recently recommended the audiobook of this one too me and I’m really looking forward to when my hold comes through from my local library!

6. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

My dear friend and fellow bookseller Emily recommended this series to me back when I first became a bookseller in 2013. I have to admit I’m kinda of mad at myself since its been 7 years and I still haven’t read this series yet.

Are any of these on your TBR pile too?
