Audiobook Review: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

Review: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is one of my favorite books. I loved having it read to me as a child, and now as an adult I try to read it at least once a year. But I’ve never listened to it so when I joined audible recently I choose to download a production of it and I listened to it the other night. 

The Production I choose to download was preformed by Scarlett Johansson. Overall I really enjoyed Scarlett’s performance. She did an excellent job voicing Alice and several of the other key characters. Her performance was engaging and I didn’t find myself drifting off as I sometimes do with audiobooks. I did find some parts of her performance lacking however. Her signing for some of the song verses wasn’t as good as I think they could have been. But overall I thought she gave a very well executed performance.

I just really enjoyed listening to this one the other night. It was a nice break from Netflix and just screens in general really. 100% would recommend listening too outside on a warm summer’s day.
